Cost-Savings
The key to your company's cost-savings is Transloading. Multiple containers are consolidated into fewer
trailers to maximize loadability and minimize inland freight expense. Your company will be saving on the Inland Transportation
and Fuel Surcharge Cost by reducing the number of trucks on the road. Another benefit from preplanned consolidation of the ocean containers before they reach your door, is the reduced warehouse labor and administrative expense with fewer pieces of equipment to manage and handle the shipments.
Single Invoicing Structure
A simplified all-in pricing provides an invoice that covers the entire domestic inland transportation.
"K" Line's Ocean Bill of Lading is terminated at the West Coast. Inland moves are on a Transloading Bill of Lading - Arrangements by "K" Line Total Logistics, LLC®, as Agent.
