KLTL's vendor consolidation program yields maximum efficiency to customers with multiple vendor shipments. Through the service provided by KLTL's sister company, Century Distribution Systems, Inc., merchandise is consolidated to maximize the load in marine containers. The cargo is stuffed per customer loading instructions, and delivered to nominated carrier of the customer's choosing. This physical freight consolidation results in savings in both ocean freight and destination transportation. Expensive CFS delivery and LCL ocean freight are minimized, yielding lower ocean freight costs per SKU.
